October is National Kitchen & Bath month and we want to celebrate with you! Throughout the month, we will be releasing a series of blog posts that highlight exciting design trends. Follow along to see what our designers have to say about these trends and how to keep your kitchen space up to date. You can look forward to learning about why our designers say they are “so excited” about how tastes and styles are changing.
Kitchen designs are becoming more “fun” and homeowners are more comfortable diving into traditionally unconventional styles of decorating. Our designers work hard to stay current on what is trending. Then, when new trends become popular locally, our designers know how to best serve their clients. As new design elements become more popular, however, others inevitably go out of style.
Jenny Freeman from our Hancock Lumber Kitchen Design Showroom in Windham noted that, “People are scared that trends will fade out as quickly as they come in. My job is to make them timeless.”
Jenny makes kitchens timeless by adding character and personality to the space. She tells her customers to pick one object that they love whether it’s a color, a piece of furniture, or a piece of hardware.
Jenny then uses the object to inspire the design of the rest of the kitchen. As a result, Jenny creates a space that is truly representative of the people who will be using the kitchen every day.
Stay tuned to learn more about what is trending during our National Kitchen & Bath blog post series, and how to make these trends work for you!
