Team Hancock gathered together for a company-wide outing at the Portland Seadogs this September to celebrate everyone’s hard work, bond with family and friends and celebrate 175 years of Hancock Lumber! The night was gorgeous, despite the threat of Hurricane Lee, and employees gathered from across both the sawmill and retail divisions for a night of baseball. The night was kicked off with Hancock’s mascot, Forest Hancock, throwing out the ceremonious first pitch. Next up to the plate was Retail HR Manager John Muzzy who did an incredible job singing the national anthem (Team Hancock sure is full of talented people!)
The night included a face painting station, Hancock branded baseballs for kids and families to take home, food, beverage and more! It also happened to be the Field of Dreams game at Hadlock Field, adding to the celebratory nature of the evening. Team Hancock was also recently recognized as a Best Place to Work in Maine for the tenth consecutive year. This was the first time the company gathered as a collective since the announcement! Thank you to all the employees and family members that came out – Team Hancock is proud of the culture and community that we are continuously building!
