After winning the ‘Best Places to Work’ accolade for the ninth consecutive year, our Hancock Lumber locations held celebrations to commemorate and celebrate this achievement. We are proud to continuously foster a culture where our team members feel heard, respected, and valued – and, the ‘Best Places to Work’ accolade reflects our team’s commitment. From axe throwing to BBQing, our teams sure know how to celebrate!
The Augusta team held an outing at the Hatchet House.
Brunswick celebrated with a group meal at Pat’s Pizza.
Damariscotta held a corn hole tournament and had a BBQ dinner.
The team in Bridgton had so much fun at their 2nd Annual Corn Hole Tournament and pig roast from Pig Kahuna, they forgot to snap pictures! Winners of the tournament were awarded gift certificates to Tickets Unlimited to enjoy an event of their choice with their loved ones.
The Home Office celebrated by inviting Smokin’ Dave’s Backyard BBQ to cater lunch.
The Saco Team enjoyed a group dinner at Joseph’s by the Sea.
The Wolfeboro team played a (rainy) round of golf, but there was still a lot of fun to be had!
The team in Yarmouth enjoyed pizza and pool.
Our Kennebunk team enjoyed a night of games and bowling.
Our Windham location also hosted a Corn Hole tournament. The winners were able to choose between tickets to the New England Patriots or the Boston Bruins. Congratulations to Aaron Mace and Andrew Ward for winning the tournament – enjoy the games!
As part of the thank you for every employees’ contributions to making Hancock Lumber a ‘Best Place to Work’ all team members were able to select one of three gift choices.
