What a journey Kevin Hancock has been on in the last decade, sharing a trail of leadership + life lessons he’s learned along the way. I’d like to share some recent highlights with our community and encourage everyone to take some time and listen and watch for yourselves.
Kevin made his author debut in 2015 when he self-published his book, Not for Sale: Finding Center in the Land of Crazy Horse. Perhaps one of the most welcome, yet unexpected, outcomes of Kevin becoming a published author was the public speaking opportunities that followed. Unexpected since Kevin’s leadership transformation catapulted, in part, from his Spasmodic Dysphonia diagnosis–a rare voice condition that makes speaking inconsistent and challenging. Yet, a welcome opportunity because–regardless of the quality of his voice at times–the invitations to share his story with a broader audience keep funneling in.
This connectivity has fueled Kevin with more ideas and energy around the way he thinks about work, leadership, engagement, and life. It’s an honor to share some of Kevin’s recent work–from beyond the Hancock Lumber walls–with all of you.
Happy reading and watching,
Erin Plummer
